VoltCue recommends a stop time and related estimates. It does not connect to, read from, start, stop, or control a vehicle or charger, and it never guarantees an ending percentage or charging condition.
What VoltCue provides
VoltCue uses customer-entered information, cautious starting assumptions, optional NOAA/NWS weather, and completed-session history to estimate charging stop times and related information. Normal results can improve a selected profile gradually.
What VoltCue does not do
- verify the actual percentage, timer setting, electrical supply, connector, station, route, traffic, or displayed range
- guarantee an ending percentage, duration, energy, distance, Trip result, or charging condition
- diagnose a traction battery, 12-volt battery, outlet, wiring, cable, EVSE, onboard charger, or other component
- replace a vehicle manual, equipment instructions, electrician, roadside assistance, emergency service, or qualified service provider
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for choosing the correct vehicle and profile, entering accurate information, reviewing the estimate, programming supported controls, and verifying the dashboard, timer, plug, outlet, EVSE, connector compatibility, and displayed range.
Do not rely on an implausible estimate, a result that conflicts with the vehicle or equipment instructions, or an unsafe or uncertain charging condition. Choose a more conservative charging or travel plan.
Charging safety
Follow the vehicle, EVSE, cable, outlet, adapter, station, and electrical-equipment instructions. Stop charging if a plug or outlet becomes hot, smells unusual, is damaged, or if the vehicle or EVSE shows a warning. Persistent heat, wiring, outlet, cable, or charging problems require a qualified electrician or appropriate service provider.
VoltCue cannot approve an adapter, extension cord, outlet, charger, station, or modified electrical setup. Compatibility does not certify electrical safety.
Trip and Charging Health
Trip is a one-time planning estimate based on dashboard values and cautious charging-rate assumptions. It is not a route planner, charger locator, station-status service, connector guarantee, traffic service, or range guarantee.
Charging Health reports cautious patterns only after enough qualifying sessions. A pattern can have many causes and is not a component diagnosis. Heat, smell, damage, warnings, repeated interruption, or other unsafe signs require real-world action regardless of what VoltCue displays.
Weather and service availability
Weather, store, operating-system, notification, and sharing services can be delayed, unavailable, changed, or discontinued. VoltCue keeps a general-estimate path when weather is unavailable but cannot guarantee third-party availability or observation coverage.
Data and device changes
VoltCue stores its working setup and history locally. Complete data copy contains every saved vehicle/profile, setting, and charging session; spreadsheet copy is the separate readable history export. Deleting app data or uninstalling can remove local history. Creating the complete backup is supported, but a customer self-service restore/import procedure is still being verified and is not promised in the current test build.
Purchases and refunds
When VoltCue becomes available, purchase, license, billing, and refund processing will be handled by the store where it was obtained and remain subject to that store’s terms. VoltCue support can help with the product but cannot access a customer’s store account or payment method.
