CURRENT TESTING BOUNDARY

Leaf-first.
Evidence before expansion.

VoltCue version 1 is being designed and tested for U.S.-market 2018–2025 Nissan Leaf models using overnight 120V or 240V AC charging. Similar inputs do not automatically make another vehicle or setup supported.

Personal normal-charge results gradually become more important than the cautious starting estimate, but they do not repair an incorrect setup choice.

02 · NORMAL CHARGING PROFILES

Overnight AC charging.

Regular 120V wall outletPortable 240V charger/cableHome Level 2 chargerNot sure

Available current, voltage, charging loss, battery condition, temperature, household load, EVSE limits, and the onboard charger can materially change the result.

03 · TIMER CONTROLS

Match the controls you can really set.

VoltCue defaults supported Leaf profiles to a 10-minute interval and also allows 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes. VoltCue recommends a setting; it does not program or verify the vehicle or charger timer.

04 · SEPARATE TRIP ESTIMATES

A cautious one-time tool.

Trip can estimate a wait for a 120V outlet, public Level 2 charger, or compatible DC fast charger. It does not make fast charging part of the normal learned home profile and does not guarantee station status, connector compatibility, charging power, taper, traffic, route conditions, or range.

05 · NOT CURRENTLY VALIDATED

Outside the first release boundary.

  • 2011–2017 Leaf models
  • redesigned 2026 or later Leaf models
  • non-U.S. vehicles and market-specific timer controls
  • non-Leaf vehicles or a generic all-EV mode
  • modified electrical setups or unverified adapters
  • automatic vehicle or charger control
  • Bluetooth/OBD readings or VoltCue Pro hardware
  • battery, outlet, wiring, cable, EVSE, or onboard-charger diagnosis
